Renewable energy
Exceeded our 2030 target of ≥70% five years ahead of plan, up from 66% in 2024, reflecting a coordinated effort to decarbonize our manufacturing footprint in line with our climate strategy.
Metric tons of product produced
Volumes increased by 1.5% compared to 2024, despite uneven market conditions and softer demand in several regions, remaining slightly below expectations.
Sales from BSI Achiever products
In 2025, the share of Beckers Sustainability Index (BSI) Achiever products increased from 50% to 52%, driven by portfolio adjustments and product innovations in close collaboration with customers. Products in the Achiever category demonstrate strong sustainability performance, both in terms of materials and functionality.
A force for good at every touchpoint
In 2024, we launched our Green Lights Strategy, fully integrating business and sustainability across our four strategic pillars; People, Products, Operations and Business with Impact. In 2025, we moved from ambition to implementation – with science-based climate targets approved, continued growth in sustainable products and deeper engagement across our value chain – reinforcing our ambition to make coatings a force for good at every touchpoint.
Climate Targets Approved by SBTi
Our 2050 net-zero commitment is now officially validated by the Science Based Targets initiative. Starting in 2025, we report progress toward our new near- and long-term CO₂e emissions reduction targets.
