Our value creation model

Understanding value in terms of human and environmental capital is essential for prioritizing where our Green Lights Strategy needs to further develop and where our efforts can have the greatest impact. Our Double Materiality Assessment, together with our Value Creation Model, supports this work by helping us identify and address our most significant impacts, risks and opportunities, informing how we prioritize decisions that mitigate negative impacts while supporting long-term value creation.

Our owner Lindéngruppen uses the Value Creation Model that focuses on true value creation. The model includes net income as well as externalities that can be monetized: salaries and pay, taxes and subsidies, carbon emissions, waste, occupational health and safety and gender equality. These externalities are among those that have the greatest impact on our overall value creation and can help mitigate our negative impacts.

At Beckers, the model is used as a complementary management and analytical tool. It supports the integration of sustainability considerations into strategic priorities, target-setting and follow-up, and enhances transparency around how our operations and value chain generate both positive and negative impacts over time. It is closely linked to the Green Lights Strategy and informs our work on double materiality.

Responsible business conduct

Responsible business conduct is fundamental to how Beckers operates globally. We apply a zero-tolerance approach to corruption and bribery, maintain confidential whistleblowing channels open to both employees and external parties, and conduct regular risk assessments across the Group.
